The Reverend Daiun Iba (photo above) of Cincinnati Buddhist Vihara led the celebration with a chant and prayer
for peace, after which he taught us about the basics of Buddhism.

LeCroix, Kaz Konuma, Rev. Iba, Mai Kinman, Betsy Sato, Helen Rindsberg and Kazuya Sato. Steve Rindsberg is

Following the celebration, we reconvened at Aoi Japanese Restaurant at Newport on the Levee for a delicious
dinner and conversation.
